Monona Serenity Group turns 40 years old on August 28, 2025. To celebrate, we are going to pay down $40,000 on our mortgage. We need your help to do this! Monona Serenity Group will match contributions to the “$40 for Forty” mortgage fund up to $15,000.
Monona Serenity Group pays $1,686 per month on our mortgage with Lake Ridge Bank. The total balance is $288,800 at a 3.8% interest rate. The loan is up for renewal at the end of 2026 and will likely result in a higher interest rate.
The Board has voted to allocate up to $15,000 from our treasury in matching contributions to the “$40 for Forty” mortgage fund with the hope of reaching a total of $40,000 by our July 19th picnic.
